Bingo Every Thursday at American Legion Post 200 in Wallis

Published August 26, 2026 · By Post Admin

Bingo runs every Thursday at the Post 200 hall, starting at 4:30 PM. You do not need to be a member and you do not need to know anybody. Turn up and play.

Where to go

330 Legion Rd, Wallis, TX 77485. The hall is the Legion home the Post has kept going since it was built, and it is easy to find once you are on Legion Road. If you need directions, ring (979) 478-9913.

Why bingo matters here

Bingo is not a sideline for this Post. It is a good part of how we fund what we do — the programs, the ceremonies, the flags, the upkeep on a building that does not maintain itself. Every Thursday somebody spends their evening running it.

The money raised in Wallis stays in Wallis. That is worth saying plainly, because it is not true of everything that asks for your money.

Before you set out

Times can shift around holidays and the occasional special event. Our events page carries the current schedule, and the community calendar shows bingo alongside everything else on in town.

If you want to help

Bingo runs on volunteers. If you have a free Thursday and a willingness to be useful, get in touch. You do not have to be a veteran to help — the Auxiliary, the Sons and plenty of friends of the Post pitch in. Membership has four routes into it, and most families with a veteran in them qualify for one.
