1. About the Site

This Site is operated by American Legion Post 200, a nonprofit veterans' organization chartered under the American Legion, Department of Texas, located at 330 Legion Rd, Wallis, TX 77485. The Site provides information about our post, events, programs, membership, and hall rental.

2. Eligibility & Membership

American Legion membership requires honorable service in the U.S. Armed Forces during a period of war as defined by the American Legion national constitution. Eligibility is verified by Post officers. Submitting a membership application through this Site does not guarantee acceptance.

Sons of the American Legion (SAL) and American Legion Auxiliary membership have their own eligibility requirements based on relationship to a qualifying veteran or Legion member.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Hall Rental

Hall rental inquiries submitted through this Site are subject to availability and Post 200 approval. A separate rental agreement will be provided. Key terms include:

A deposit is required to confirm your reservation.
Cancellations with less than 14 days' notice may forfeit the deposit.
All events must comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Post 200 reserves the right to refuse rental for any lawful reason.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site.
Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful content.
Scrape or harvest content without written permission.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, images, logos, and graphics — is the property of American Legion Post 200 or is used with permission. The American Legion name, emblem, and related marks are trademarks of The American Legion. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, American Legion Post 200 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this Site or inability to access it. Our total liability to you shall not exceed $100.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Austin County, Texas.
