About the Sons of the American Legion
The Sons of the American Legion (SAL) Squadron 200 is comprised of male descendants of veterans — including sons, grandsons, great-grandsons, and other male family members. The SAL carries forward the tradition of service, supporting American Legion programs and honoring the sacrifice of the veterans in their families and community.
SAL Squadron Commander

The SAL Squadron Commander leads Sons of the American Legion Squadron 200, presiding over meetings, directing squadron programs, and representing the sons, grandsons, and male descendants of American Legion members. The Commander builds the squadron's role in honoring the veteran legacy and serving the community.
SAL Vice Commander

The SAL Vice Commander supports the Squadron Commander and assumes squadron leadership as needed. This officer assists with membership outreach and helps coordinate squadron programs and participation in Post 200 activities and events.
SAL Adjutant

The SAL Adjutant maintains squadron records, handles official correspondence, and ensures the squadron operates in accordance with SAL bylaws and procedures. This officer is the administrative backbone of Squadron 200, keeping the organization running smoothly.
SAL Finance Officer

The SAL Finance Officer manages squadron finances, maintains accurate records, processes dues and expenditures, and provides regular financial reports to squadron members. This officer ensures responsible management of squadron funds in service of veterans and the community.
SAL Chaplain

The SAL Chaplain provides spiritual support to squadron members and their families, opening and closing meetings with prayer and offering comfort during times of loss. The Chaplain ensures meetings are conducted with the dignity befitting those who honor a veteran legacy.
SAL Sergeant-at-Arms

The SAL Sergeant-at-Arms maintains order and decorum during squadron meetings and assists with ceremonies and events. This officer ensures that gatherings are conducted in a respectful manner that honors the service of the veterans the Sons of the American Legion represent.
SAL Historian

The SAL Historian documents the activities and milestones of Squadron 200, preserving through photographs and written records the story of the men who carry forward the legacy of their veteran family members and build on their tradition of service.
